This seems to be one of the significant reasons why many parents are more concerned and want to know where the child is at any given moment.

Beyond the physical space, it is known that children spend most of their free time on the virtual network and are exposed to content that is usually not filtered and controlled.

About half of the respondents in the survey (49 percent) think that children should be allowed to open an account on social networks aged 16 and over.

While reality shows that children are on social media already at a much younger age.

One in three respondents are actively monitoring their child's social network and 30 percent of them said they do so to a large extent and regularly

The presence of boys and girls on social networks also exposes them to a variety of content that is not always adapted to their age, which raises another issue - a discourse on sexuality.

The survey shows that 60 percent of parents think they should talk to their children about adolescence sexuality (12-18).

30 percent of respondents think it is worth talking to children about sexuality before the age of 10.

Most parents (about 70 percent) believe that they should be their children's primary educators on sexuality, and only 16 percent of parents answered that this task is the responsibility of the education system.

8 percent think that who should be the children's primary educator for sexuality are generally qualified professionals in the subject.

21% of parents do not know if their child is boycotting

Damage to the virtual space is often a direct continuation of the damage to the physical space. The survey shows a worrying statistic - 21 percent of parents do not know at all whether their child has been or is being boycotted at school. There seems to be a disconnect between the parents' desire to be connected to what the child is going through, and the actual reality. When almost a quarter of the parents are not connected to their child's social status.

Overall, about half of respondents (53 percent) think school is a safe place for their children, while close to 30 percent think school is not a safe place.17 percent of respondents said they do not know if school is a safe place for their children.

When asked about the responsibility for the children's education, 80 percent of the respondents answered that most of the educational responsibility lies with the parents, and only 13 percent answered that most of the responsibility is on the education system - almost universally parents trust themselves more than the education system.
