Part Pulser, school and European Pillar of Social Rights

A cycle of ten appointments between November and January to take stock of the situation on the Italian school and on the critical issues that the education system presents with respect to the European Pillar of Social Rights: this is the Pulser project, promoted by the Cesi Europe Academy and inaugurated by first debate "The Italian school and the European pillar of social rights". During the conference, organized by Anief and Cisal at the Hotel H10 in Rome, the many crucial issues of the school universe were introduced and addressed, in particular personnel issues, equal opportunities, active support for employment and precarious. The project has as its ultimate goal the involvement of the European Parliament in a debate concerning the protection of the fundamental rights of school staff,in particular in terms of precariousness and discrimination in the search for work, precisely in relation to the provisions of the European Social Charter. The leader of Anief, Marcello Pacifico, said: "We are more than convinced that, especially after the acceptance of the collective complaint by the European Committee of Social Rights, a clear, simple, direct and immediate answer must be given to the issue of precariousness in the Italian school. The solution in our country is to restore the double channel of recruitment and to go and recruit those precarious from those same rankings from which they are called as alternates. The hope - continued Pacifico - is that the government will listen to us . Europe asks us to hire 70,000 temporary workers within a year: we are more than convinced that this is the strategy,at this point it is important to be listened to.
