While Guadeloupe faces a violent mobilization against the restrictive measures against the progression of the Covid-19, the government wants to be firm.
Intervening from the crisis unit installed this Saturday, the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, indicated on the reinforcements sent to the island, bringing to 2,250 the number of police and gendarmes at the disposal of the prefect.
In addition, around fifty GIGN and Raid agents were sent to the site.
