(ANSA) - LONDON, NOV 21 - Great Britain has urged China to provide "verifiable evidence" regarding "safety and whereabouts" tennis star Peng Shuai, whose fate is unclear after the assault allegations sexually directed by the champion to former Chinese vice premier ZhangGaoliun.
"We are extremely concerned about the apparent disappearance of Peng Shuai and are following the case closely," the foreign ministry said in a statement, adding that Beijing "should urgently provide verifiable evidence regarding his safety and whereabouts."
