Two of the 17 North American Christian missionaries who were taken hostage in Haiti last month have been released, according to their church organization.
"We learned that two of the hostages were released in Haiti," said the "Christian Aid Ministries" group based in Ohio in a statement.
The two missionaries are "in good spirits" and are being looked after.
No further details were given about those released or the circumstances of their release.
"While we are happy to be released, our hearts go out to the 15 people who are still being held," the group said.
