(ANSA) - KHARTOUM, NOV 21 - Sudanese general Abdel Fattahal-Burhan and deposed prime minister Abdalla Hamdok have reached an agreement for the latter's return to the leadership of the government and the release of the civilian leadership held after the military coup of the month last: the mediators made it known today.
"A political agreement has been reached between General Burhan, Abdalla Hamdok, political forces and civil society organizations for Hamdok's return to his position and the release of political detainees," said Sudanese mediator Fadlallah Burma.
