Murder of the monstrously clever father: The Tukur "crime scene" was a philosophy thriller that could not always keep its ambitious promise. Or do you have a different opinion?

Left-wing thinkers, right-wing violence: The "crime scene" with Ulrich Tukur about the murder of a philosopher sparked many topics. The once celebrated Adorno pupil, who now lived by choice on the street and was shot with a Wehrmacht pistol, was part of a series of murders in which his own children were involved. So they took revenge on their monstrously clever father, who had always made them feel his contempt. Of course, there was also a little bit of inheritance involved.

In our review we wrote: »Murot and the therapist use wooden figures, such as those used in systemic constellations, to recreate the constellation of the suspicious family members. And then the wooden figures suddenly become miniature versions of the people they represent. Murot looks down at the dwarf tableau like the parents in the fantasy joke ›Darling, I've shrunk the kids‹ at their offspring. What an eye catcher! The only stupid thing is that during other scenes in the film the actress and actors act so stiffly, as if they were wooden figures being pushed back and forth. As artfully and imaginatively as the idea of anti-naturalism is implemented in this philosophy thriller, the actors strive to achieve this anti-naturalism:How do you play thinking? How do you embody abstraction? "

We gave 6 out of 10 points.

What do you think of the film?

Ulrich Tukur and Lars Eidinger, who portrayed the philosopher's unstable, cynical son in the »Tatort«, can be seen again on TV in two weeks: On November 30th, the RTL plus series »Faking Hitler« will start over the background to the forged Hitler diaries in the Stern.
