Ecdc, Italy among the countries with an increasing trend

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, NOVEMBER 22 - In the Covid forecasts published by the European Agency for Disease Control and Prevention (Ecdc), Italy is among the countries with a growing trend for hospital admissions, admissions to intensive care, and deaths.

We read in an ECDC report, and relating to week 45 (which ended on Sunday 14 November), for the 30 EU / See countries, in which there is an overall "very high" level of disease for infections (8.3 out of 10) , growth rates for about twenty countries, including Italy.

   For Italy (between 21-27 November) there are an estimated 69,434 new cases, 2,224 new hospitalizations, and 500 new deaths.
