The Credem Group, one of the main Italian banking groups, is launching a new digital consultancy model dedicated to the analysis of customer protection needs, with the aim of offering insurance solutions that are increasingly consistent with the needs of the individual customer. In particular, thanks to a new platform that will make it possible to sign protection insurance contracts via digital signature and via one's own remote internet banking, the goal is to reach 80% of contracts signed via digital signature by 2025. A methodology in line with the overall strategy of the Credem Group which increasingly focuses on environmental sustainability. The complete digitalization of the process will result in annual savings of approximately 7 tons of CO2 thanks to lower paper consumption.


Credemvita, an insurance company active in the life classes, and Credemassicurazioni, an insurance company active in the non-life sectors, are in charge of the project. In recent days, both approved the financial statements as at 30 September 2021. Led by the general manager Francesco Germini, they achieved positive results. In particular, total reserves for Credemvita amounted to 8.3 billion euros, up 12% in one year and for Credemassicurazioni, premiums written amounted to 38.3 million, up 2% compared to the same period of the previous year. . In detail, the net profit of Credemvita amounted to 24.2 million (+ 25%), while the net profit of Credemassicurazioni stood at 9.8 million (-6%) and was affected by the growing value returned to customers during theyear due to a higher loss ratio recorded in the context of protection policies.


The two companies are continuing to innovate.

Credemassicurazioni has launched a new protection policy dedicated to families and the protection of IT risks also for minors and the protection of legal risks.

While Credemvita also launched in the first half of the year the new range of "multi-branch" insurance investment policies that allow you to have, in a single product, the security typical of separate insurance management, together with the market performance of investment funds. of "branch III".

The launch of a new protection policy to protect loved ones in the event of death is also expected shortly, with innovative contents of flexibility and freedom of choice in terms of duration and insurable amount.
