Black Friday 2021 * will officially not take place until next Friday, on November 26th.
But the pre-Christmas discount battle has long since begun - and is going on for a week or two.

Black Friday 2021: How expensive will the Christmas shopping be?
According to a survey by Idealo, Germans want to spend an average of 334 euros on Black Friday *, 26 percent more than in 2020. That will also be necessary.
Because of delivery problems and a lack of chips, many gifts are significantly more expensive than last year.
Computer graphics cards increased by 78 percent, erotic articles by 53 percent, educational toys by 21 percent, refrigerators by 15 percent and smartphones by 7 percent.
Black Friday 2021: How Much Can I Save?
The discounts that are advertised sound spectacular. But they have little to do with the truth. 50, 70 or even 90 percent less - if a dealer calculated that way, he would be broke quickly. Often the discounts refer to the manufacturer's official price recommendation, which nobody pays anyway. The reality looks like this: 61 percent of the products were actually cheaper on Black Friday in 2020 than in October. On average, however, the savings were just four percent. And only every seventh offer was reduced by more than 20 percent. If you compare cleverly, you will still find a lot of bargains.
For example, cell phones were three percent cheaper than before around the Savings Friday 2020, notebooks by seven percent, vacuum cleaners by eight percent and televisions by nine percent.
There were also noticeable discounts on food, cosmetics, fashion and travel.
Black Friday 2021: how's the bargain week going?
It is worthwhile to search now and to research on websites such as idealo.de or billiger.de how the prices for the desired products have developed.
Last year there were offers in 78 of the 100 most important categories that were cheaper in November than on Black Friday.

Black Friday 2021: How can I react to delivery bottlenecks?
The best countermeasures are early shopping - and flexibility.
Because many products are only sold out in certain versions or are particularly cheap.
In 2020, the Nike Air Max 97 sneakers in black and white could save only two percent on Black Friday - but 20 percent in black and red.
Even with smartphones, different memory sizes or colors can make a big difference.
And it can be worthwhile to use the still good predecessor model.
The Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones didn't get a discount at all last year - compared to 17 percent for the older WH-1000XM3.
Black Friday 2021: How are Amazon and Apple doing?
The “Black Friday week” has already started at Amazon and will last until November 29th.
There are bargains there between 6 a.m. and 7.45 p.m. every 5 minutes.
So if you want to save, you have to be quick.
As always, Apple * keeps its plans a secret.
The iPhone should again not offer a discount - in contrast to accessories such as AirPods or cell phone cases.
Apple does not usually give out money, instead they give vouchers for the next purchase.
Black Friday 2021: what about the return?
If you are already shopping, unpacking on December 24th is long past the statutory return period of 14 days.
Therefore, practically all reputable retailers currently offer to return purchases longer.
If you are currently shopping at Amazon, Otto or Tchibo, for example, you have until January 31, 2022 to return the goods and then get your money back.
