After the TV presenter Dunja Hayali was apparently spat on and insulted as a "vaccination Nazi", the reactions on Twitter fluctuated between hostility, incomprehension and expressions of solidarity: "Always this victim role," wrote a Twitter user.

"Just stop crying," tweeted another user.

"You definitely belong in prison." Under the hashtag #Hayali someone wrote: "Everyone gets what they deserve!"

She is no longer willing to accept that someone like Hayali "can now experience physical attacks like this without causing a storm of (political + social) indignation," tweeted the influencer and author Marie von den Benken. The CDU politician Ruprecht Polenz wrote on the short message service that Hayali should report the attacker to "attempted bodily harm (corona infection) and insult".

Hayali himself responded to the replies in another tweet. With an ironic "thank you" to those who would now "follow suit" - and an honest thank you: "And please take a look or help if something like this happens in your presence!" In her original tweet, which has since been over 20,000 "I like" the moderator wrote: "Thanks for nothing. Fed up today. "

The presenter, who has received multiple awards for her work and commitment, has repeatedly made public how she is threatened and insulted.

At a demonstration against corona measures in Berlin, Hayali broke off a shoot last year when her team was attacked by demonstrators.

Most recently, Hayali campaigned for a corona vaccination on Twitter under the hashtag #allesindenArm, alongside celebrities such as the pianist Igor Levit, the rapper Smudo or the virologist Melanie Brinkmann.
