6,000 classes are currently closed due to Covid-19.
The Minister of National Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer, announced this Tuesday to the National Assembly.
"At the height of the epidemic, last year, when we managed to keep the school open, we were at 12,000 closed classes," the minister reminded the deputies.

Observing a "relaxation" of barrier gestures in the general population, "this relaxation is much less", also gargled Jean-Michel Blanquer, repeating that "the school environment is not particularly contaminating".

According to the latest point released Friday by the Ministry of National Education, with figures as of Thursday, 4,048 classes were closed across the country (0.8% of all classes).
28 school structures were completely closed.
The health protocol has hardened in schools in the face of the 5th wave.
Limited to a few departments, the obligation to wear a mask at school is now extended to all of France.
A class must close from the first case of contamination among the students.
