Grammy 2022, Jon Batiste surprised with 11 nominations

(ANSA) - NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 23 - Surprise at the nominations for iGrammy 2022. American musician, pianist and composer Jon Batiste triumphs with eleven nominations including album of the year with 'We Are' and record of the year with 'Freedom'.

   The artist is also nominated for several other genres including R&B, jazz, American roots music, classical and music video.

    In second place are Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and HER with eight nominations each and in third place Billie Eilish and OliviaRodrigo with seven.

Surprise also for The Weeknd which took home three nominations, despite having declared that it would no longer participate after the corruption allegations against the Recording Academy, the organization that organizes the Grammys.
