The 'Friends of Italian Innovation' event in Tel Aviv

'Friends of Italian Innovation' meeting

organized by the Italian Embassy in Tel Aviv, the Italy-Israel Chamber of Commerce and the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center which took place today in Tel Aviv.


The initiative, promoted on the occasion of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, now

in its sixth edition, celebrated the resumption of meetings, finally in person, between representatives of Israeli innovation, Italian institutions and companies active in the technological ecosystem Israeli.


    A greeting video from the Minister of Tourism Massimo Garavaglia promoted the Italian food and wine tradition also in terms of food sustainability, inviting everyone to return to travel to Italy, a favorite destination for Israeli tourists. The Ambassador of Italy to Israel Sergio Barbanti promoted the event together with the director of the Israel-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Enit Israel Clelia di Consiglio, recalling the importance of the relationship between the two countries and the great opportunities that derive from companies and the national economic system from these reports. For the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, Vincenzo Antonetti presented the characteristics of the Italian innovative ecosystem, highlighting the opportunities for cooperation and investment between Israel and Italy with a view to Open Innovation.


    The large presence of representatives of Israel's innovation system - including Startup Nation Central, Israel Advanced Technology Industries, the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, The Floor, The Kitchen Hub - and important Italian multinationals such as Enel, Ferrero and Campari Group, was the confirmation of the desire to create fruitful synergies between the Italian entrepreneurial fabric and Israeli technological excellence.
