The event, scheduled from December 1 to 5 in Rennes, limits the sale of tickets for its concerts in a standing configuration. If the health situation allows, the remaining places will be on sale no later than November 29.

With a fifth wave of covid in the sights, it's better to anticipate than to have the rug pulled out from under your feet. Despite the authorization of a complete audience for standing concerts since November 11 at the national level, the board of directors and the management of Trans Musicales have announced,

"in all responsibility and as a precautionary measure", to

limit the sale of concert tickets in a standing configuration,

“at 75% of their capacity”

. This decision concerns the Ubu room and the halls of the Expo Park, where the majority of festival-goers go. The Aire Libre, the TNB and the Triangle, the festival halls in seated format, are not concerned and can accommodate 100% of the public.

"

The evolution of the health situation remains however likely to lead to local restrictions

", specifies the direction of the festival in its press release.

Thus,

"if the sanitary situation finally makes it possible to keep gauges at 100% until the festival, and except against the order of the competent authorities

", the festival ensures to put on sale "

the 25% of remaining places on Monday, November 29 at the latest;

and before that if possible

”.

For now, the gauge is already 75% full for Saturday, December 4.

Only the dates at the Parc Expo of Thursday 2 and Friday 3 December are still available for sale.

More than 80 artists playing

From December 1 to 5, the Trans Musicales will see 89 artists, French and foreign alike, parade on stage.

Lujipeka, DJ Pone, former member of Birdy Nam Nam, or Arnaud Rebotini are there.

And the list just keeps growing.

Chris Dogzout and Zazu, two DJs from Rennes, come to expand the program for Friday December 3 at Parc Expo.

The announcement was made on November 17, just three weeks before the start of the Trans Musicales.

In one year, the number of artists showing has doubled.

A completely understandable abundance, since the 2020 edition could not be held.

The Rennes festival then opted for a 100% digital event via their site.
