(ANSA) - MILAN, NOVEMBER 24 - In 2024, Enel expects the Group's EBITDA to reach 21.0-21.6 billion euros, compared to the 18.7-19.3 billion euros estimated in 2021. Group ordinary profit is expected to grow to 6.7-6.9 billion euros in 2024, compared to 5.4-5.6 billion euros estimated in 2021.
Between 2020 and 2030 the ordinary Ebitda of the Enel Group is expected to increase by 5-6% in terms of the compound annual rate of growth (CAGR), against an ordinary net profit of the Group expected to increase by 6-7%, again in terms of AGR. The energy Group announces this by presenting the 2022-2024 Strategic Plan to the financial and media markets and its strategic vision to 2030. The energy giant also anticipates its "NetZero" commitment by 10 years, from 2050 to 2040, both for emissions direct and indirect. "This year's Plan, with 170 billion euros of direct investments by 2030, represents a turning point. Its implementation allows us to advance from the previous decade of the discovery of renewable energy to the current decade of Electrification",said Enel CEO Francesco Starace (ANSA).
