Corona is currently causing massive problems for Werder Bremen and his former coach Markus Anfang.
After the Austrian defender Marco Friedl, interim coach Danijel Zenkovic and midfielder Nicolai Rapp have also tested positive for the virus.
This also has consequences for the former head coach: According to SPIEGEL research, Zenkovic named Markus Anfang as a contact person for the Bremen health department.
The 47-year-old resigned as head coach of the second division Werder Bremen because he is said to have presented a forged vaccination certificate.
Unexplained vaccination status of the ex-trainer
The officials of the health department sent Zenkovic and Rapp into quarantine at home.
They also contacted their colleagues in Cologne, where Markus Anfang is said to have returned after his resignation from Bremen.
There he registered his first place of residence.
The situation is tricky: The public prosecutor is investigating the beginning and his former assistant coach Florian Junge, because the entries in their vaccination records are said to be falsified.
However, the two are not convicted.
Your official vaccination status is unclear.
The allegations weigh heavily, however.
The injections with the Comirnaty vaccine from Biontech and Pfizer entered in the initial vaccination pass with the dates April 20 and June 1 should not have taken place in a Cologne vaccination center as stated.
At the request of the health department, the Bremen Federal Police checked the anonymized data.
The result: They classified the batch number EM6374 of the first vaccination as a forgery.
A statement by the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians also indicates that the initial vaccination certificate could be forged.
His personal data are therefore not in the system of the KV, which is responsible for the vaccination center.

Shortly before his resignation, Anfang still claimed that he had received both vaccinations "in a vaccination center".
After that, he did not comment on the allegations.
Young has not yet commented on the prosecution's investigations.
The Cologne health department came to the conclusion: Werder's ex-trainer must definitely be in quarantine.
Because he cannot show proof of the alleged vaccinations.
The yellow vaccination certificate is with the public prosecutor in Bremen.
