(ANSA) - DUBAI, NOVEMBER 24 - The inauguration ceremony of the National Day of Italy at Expo 2020 Dubai was opened in Al Wasl Plaza, the symbolic place of the Emirate exhibition, with the flag raising and the performance of the anthems of Italy and the Emirates . After the institutional interventions of Minister DiMaio and the Minister of Tolerance of the Emirates, the ceremony continued with a performance by the Carabinieri Band. The morning of the Italian National Day also saw a performance by the flag-wavers of Città dellaCava, which will also be repeated in the afternoon.
After the ceremony, Minister Di Maio and the Emirati delegation reached the Italian Pavilion, where they took part in the inauguration of an exhibition on archaeological benefits recovered by the Carabinieri Command for the Protection of Artistic Heritage.
Also present was Brigadier General Roberto Riccardi, head of the Carabinieri Command for the Protection of Cultural Heritage.
