(ANSA) - LONDON, NOVEMBER 24 - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has urgently summoned the Cobra committee for emergency management in response to the massacre of migrants which took place today in the French waters of the Channel.
London has long urged Paris to take more incisive action to curb the flow of smugglers' boats from the French coasts trying to reach Great Britain: a flow that has intensified in recent months, despite bilateral agreements co-financed by the Kingdom and the promises of the Tory government on a post-Brexit border control squeeze , up to peaks of over 1000 arrivals per day.
