"The guarantee of the independence of the Judiciary, an indispensable element in the model of the Constitution - he added - lies in the prestige that is recognized and in the conscience of the citizens. It is a terrain on which no hesitation or uncertainty is allowed: the Judiciary is called, in this period, to revitalize their own deontological roots, enhancing the impartiality and irreproachability of individual conduct; avoiding the closures of self-referentiality and protagonism ".
"The reform of the CSM, which can no longer be postponed, must also move in this direction. The autonomous governing body, as a constitutional defense for the protection of the autonomy and independence of the Judiciary, is called upon to ensure the best solutions for the functioning of the organization judicial, without ever yielding to a sterile corporate defense ".
