(ANSA) - MADRID, NOVEMBER 24 - Public unrest continues during the year-long strike by metalworkers in the province of Cadiz, in southern Spain.
The Iberian media reported it.
While the workers continue their protest action to demand wage improvements, some of the demonstrators and the police confront each other in the Río San Pedro area of Puerto Real, a working-class neighborhood in the Andalusian city.
Rubber bullets, charges and tear gas are the responses of agents to throwing objects and stones from some people.
Meanwhile, a mainly peaceful demonstration takes place in the center of Cadiz.
Scenes of public disorder, with barricades, small fires, traffic disruptions in industrial junctions and police actions in riot gear were also repeated in the past days.
