"No to violence. The cry of women" is the title of the event in the Senate on the day against violence against women, on 25 November. An appointment wanted by the President Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, which sees together in the hall of Palazzo Madama the Senators of all groups, celebrities from culture and entertainment and representatives of associations engaged in combating violence against women. After the Italian anthem performed by the Women orchestra, the conductor, Barbara De Rossi, presents moments of reflection entrusted to some Senators, the actress Claudia Gerini and the singer-songwriter Grazia Di Michele. Orietta Casolin, who on two wheels is traveling through Italy from Portogruaro to raise awareness ofpublic opinion on the victims of femicide.
