In his recent colonoscopy, Joe Biden had a 3-millimeter polyp removed which was found to be a tubular adenoma, a slow-growing, benign lesion that is thought to be potentially precancerous. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, NOV 24 - In his recent colonoscopy, Joe Biden had a 3 mm polyp removed which was found to be a tubular adenoma, a slow-growing, benign lesion that is thought to be potentially precancerous.

The White House doctor Kevin O'Connor reports that the polyp is similar to the one that was removed in 2008 and does not require further intervention but only a routine check-up.
