(ANSA) - MOSCOW, NOV 25 - In Russia during the last day, 33,796 new cases of Covid-19 and 1,238 deaths caused by the disease were recorded: this was reported by the national coronavirus operation center, taken up by the Interfax agency.
According to official data, 9,468,189 cases of Covid-19 and 269,057 deaths caused by the disease have been recorded in Russia since the beginning of the epidemic.
The BBC writes that on October 29, the Russian state statistics agency Rosstat published data updated to the first nine months of 2021, according to which in total the people who died after the disease was confirmed or suspected since April 2020 are 462,352.
About 146 million people live in Russia.
