Friday November 26.

"A decree will again make it compulsory to wear a mask everywhere indoors" in places open to the public, including places where the health pass is requested, said the minister. The prefects may increase this measure of the local decision to require the mask on markets, flea markets or other outdoor events, depending on the incidence rates in their departments.

All French people over 18 are eligible to receive a vaccine booster.

The schedule is accelerating: the third dose was to be opened next Wednesday to people over 50 without comorbidities.

"Six million have already received their booster, so there are still 19 million French people to date who become eligible for the booster vaccination and that we call to be vaccinated in the next two months," he assured.

Monday November 29.

The validity period for negative Covid-19 tests has been reduced to 24 hours instead of 72 hours.

This will force unvaccinated people to be tested more often - without being reimbursed - to benefit from the health pass.

Wednesday December 15.

The health pass is conditioned on the booster dose for those over 65 years old.

"As of December 15, the health pass for those over 65 will no longer be active if the reminder has not been made within seven months after infection or after the last injection", recalled the Minister. .

Saturday January 15th.

One month after the over 65s, the health pass of all adults will depend on the inoculation of a third dose.

If it has not been done within seven months of the last injection, the pass will no longer be valid.

Beginning of 2022.

Following the European Medicines Agency, which gave the green light to the vaccination of 5-11 year olds during Olivier Véran's press conference, the question of vaccination will arise.

The government will look into the matter with the relevant national health authorities.

A decision will not be taken before "early 2022", explained the minister.
