    COMO - "Synthesis of the abstract. The painting of Manlio Rho and his archive" is the exhibition set up at the Pinacoteca di Como from November 26th to February 6th 2022, on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the artist's birth. Curated by Elena Di Raddo in collaboration with Archivio Manlio Rho, the project documents the "method" through which the artist has managed to define the balance of color and shapes present in his compositions. Among the works present in the itinerary, also Mamma with child (1866-67) by Silvestro Lega, Tramonto in Maremma (1900-05) by Giovanni Fattori, Child in the sun (1869) by Giuseppe De Nittis and Signore at the piano (1869) by Giovanni Boldini.


    MILAN - From November 24th to March 27th 2022 at Mudec a major project entirely dedicated to the Dutch artist Piet Mondrian, thanks to the collaboration of the Kunstmuseum den Haag. Entitled "Piet Mondrian. From figuration to abstraction", the exhibition presents 60 works through which, following the common thread of the landscape, a progressive stylistic evolution emerges which has its starting point in naturalism and impressionism and which passes then gradually through post-impressionism, fauves, symbolism and cubism to embrace a unique style, close to abstraction. The first exhibition by Betti Sperandeo, entitled "Of figures and backgrounds", scheduled at the Francesco Zanuso Gallery will close on November 30:exhibited a selection of portraits of intense and sensual women, works characterized by attention to composition, background and color, in which the artist focuses his original gaze on the female world.
