Ingredients
200 grams of soft butter, at room temperature
¼1 cups sugar (250 g)
4 eggs
2 cups 15 percent sour cream (400 ml)
½2 cups flour (350 g)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
For a mixture of apples and pecans:
5 diced apples
80 g of coarsely chopped pecans
2 tablespoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar (can also be white or demerara)
For streusel:
80 grams of soft butter
¼ Cup sugar (50 g)
½ Cup flour + spoon (80 g)
For decoration:
80 g of coarsely chopped pecans

Preparation
How do you sensually prepare apples and pecans with streusel?
1 Preheat oven to 170 degrees turbo and grease / line with baking paper a mold 28/32 cm in diameter or 3 English cake pans.

Prepare the streusel:
In a mixer with a guitar hook, process all the ingredients only until you get lumps of dough.
Cover and refrigerate.

Preparing the cake:
In a mixer bowl with a guitar hook (the same bowl in which we made the streusel, there is no need to rinse), place butter and sugar and process until a creamy texture is obtained.
Stop the mixer and with the help of a ladle, "disconnect" the butter from the sides of the bowl and the guitar hook.
4 Run the mixer again at low speed while pouring the eggs one after the other and increase slightly, once all the eggs are absorbed, lower again and add sour cream.
Mix until uniform overnight.
5 In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add everything to the mixer bowl and process a little to combine the batter, stopping the mixer.
6 Mix all the apple and pecan mixture ingredients and fold into the batter.
7 Pour the batter with the apples and pecans into a pan greased / lined with baking paper.
Sprinkle the streusel with your hands, simply "tear" lumps of dough and sprinkle over the cake, then sprinkle more coarsely chopped pecans.
8 Bake in a preheated oven for about 40 minutes (depending on the pan).
The cake is ready when you put in a skewer / knife and there are moist crumbs.
9 After cooling, dust a little with powdered sugar.
Keep at room temperature and well covered.
