Mattarella, violence against women is everyone's failure

(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 25 - "Violence against women is a failure of our society as a whole, which has not managed, in the path of liberation made by women in the last century, to accept a fully equitable conception of couple relationships" .

Such violence "originates from a distorted view of the relationship between man and woman, which sees the latter as an object and in any case as a subject not worthy of full respect. It is in the idea of ​​inferiority that pervades, still too often, the approach to the question feminine, where the roots of all forms of violence are found ".
