Some are looking forward to Black Friday, others consider this day to be out of date.

An alleged Black Friday "bargain" caused a laugh on Twitter.

Ingolstadt - The idea for Black Friday originally came from the USA.

There, the Friday after the Thanksgiving holiday traditionally ushers in the Christmas shopping season.

In this country, too, there is a real hype about the day with some consumers, because companies often offer discounts and bargains.

One Twitter user found it amusing what Media Markt understands by a "bargain".

Media Markt offers a supposed “bargain”: “Only” 180,000 euros

A special PC worth a single family home is certainly an exciting product for computer fans.

But there is one thing such an offer is definitely not: a bargain.

Media Markt seems to see it differently, because the group is offering a Black Friday workstation for “only” 185,014 euros.

"Media Markt is knocking out an absolute super snapper on Black Friday," a Twitter user promptly makes fun of the Internet find and adds: "Free shipping!"

Media Markt: PC for almost 200,000 euros?

If you take a closer look at the terms and conditions of the offer, you will quickly see how the advertisement came about. The product has the number [185014], but the price is also stated at 185,014 euros. A Media Markt employee made a mistake when setting up the PC in the online shop. The product actually costs around 1,399 euros. Perhaps Media Markt simply unintentionally came up with a new sales trick: After this “special” offer, consumers may find the normal price at the end of the day like a bargain.

However, companies often dig deep into their bag of tricks on Black Friday.

Consumer advocates therefore advise comparing prices carefully.

Because the Black Friday offers are not always really bargains.

Consumers should also be skeptical about particularly cheap offers with prepayment.
