According to media reports, the actors of the four Beatles have been chosen for the planned feature film about Beatles manager Brian Epstein.
The British Jonah Lees, Blake Richardson, Leo Harvey-Elledge and Campbell Wallace slip into the roles of the band members, as the US trade journal »Deadline« and the platform »Variety« wrote.
Screenwriter Jonathan Wakeman welcomed the cast in a tweet.
Some of the actors are known from previous series adaptations: Jonah Lees, who is supposed to play John Lennon in the new film, was seen in the Netflix series "The Letter for the King".
There he plays the squire Jussipo at the side of Amir Wilson.
Leo Harvey-Elledge most recently played the Oasis singer Liam Gallagher in the film "Creation Stories" and is now supposed to play George Harrison.
With Campbell Wallace there will also be a newcomer on the set: He slips into the role of Ringo Starr.
With Blake Richardson, who according to the report plays Paul McCartney, there is also a musician: The 22-year-old is actually the singer and guitarist of the band New Hope Club.
The film "Midas Man" traces the life and success story of the manager Brian Epstein, who discovered the "Fab Four" in the Cavern Club in Liverpool and made it famous.
Epstein was nicknamed the "fifth Beatle".
He died in the summer of 1967 at the age of 32 from an overdose of sleeping pills.
According to reports, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, who played in the Netflix series "The Queen's Gambit", slips into the lead role of the manager.
A few weeks ago the director Jonas Åkerlund broke off his work on "Midas Man" for unknown reasons after matching media reports.
After an interruption, the shoot will now be continued under the direction of Sara Sugarman.
The announcement of the cast coincides with the recently published Beatles documentary "Get Back" on Disney Plus.
In three parts, director Peter Jackson tells the story of the band's last album together - with their inner tensions.
