On no other day of the year are there so many offers and discounts waiting for customers as on the day after Thanksgiving - at least that's the theory.
So many companies and online shops beat the drum again on Black Friday via social media in order to draw the attention of as many customers as possible to the in-house offers and to convince them to buy.

Even if Black Friday does not enjoy the same status for everyone, most of them find it difficult to ignore the bargain day.

The social media team at frozen food manufacturer Dr.
Oetker could therefore not resist a tweet on the hot topic of Black Friday, even though the company had not planned any Black Friday campaigns itself.
