(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, NOVEMBER 26 - Based on the available evidence, the South African variant of the Covid virus could be associated with a very high transmissibility, a weakening of the action of vaccines but not a more serious infection.
The ECDC writes this in its weekly report on communicable diseases.
But, warns the EU Agency based in Stockholm, this is preliminary information: a specific report with more updated information on the Nu variant is expected in the next few hours.
