- The French chef Guy Savoy remains "the best in the world", for La Liste, the aggregator of gastronomic judgments on an audience of a thousand superfine restaurants in the four corners of the planet. Based on the evaluations of industry guides and food critics from some market-indicating countries, La Liste puts Guy Savoy's three-star Michelin restaurant at the top in La Monnaie in Paris, where you can taste delicacies such as artichoke soup with black truffle and puffed brioche with mushrooms.
Guy Savoy has been in first position in this ranking since 2017, alone and sometimes ex-aequo, "Gathers unanimous support, no criticism", Hélène Pietrini, general manager of La Liste stressed to AFP.
Nordic cuisine is essential in this international hit parade: the Swedish Björn Frantzén chases with his restaurant Frantzén in Stockholm and with the Zen restaurant in Singapore.
While the Danish restaurant Geranium, the reign of chef Rasmus Kofoed, is making a comeback.
The List looks at 25,000 restaurants across 200 countries based on renowned guides, blogs and press articles in France, China, Korea, and Japan.
