(ANSA) - MILAN, NOV 26 - The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, received Giorgio Armani this morning at the Quirinale, to whom he conferred the honor of Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
"This is a particularly important recognition for me, because it was handed to me - says Armani - by our President of the Republic, the highest institutional office, but also a man of immense value, of great openness and kindness".
"I am proud to represent Italian in the world, and I am honored - adds Armani - to receive this prestigious honor, by his hand on behalf of the country" (ANSA).
