Major evacuation in Schleswig-Holstein: A total of 5,000 people in the Hamburg suburbs of Oststeinbek and Glinde have to leave their homes on Friday morning.
In the morning, an aircraft bomb from the Second World War is to be defused there.
The defuse was originally supposed to start at 10 a.m., as the evacuation is still ongoing, according to the local police, the start of the defuse has been delayed.
Almost 2,000 people in Oststeinbek and around 3,000 people in Glinde are affected by the evacuations.
The bomb that was found is a 250 kilogram British aerial bomb.
According to the city, a barrier radius of 1000 meters was set up around the site from 7.30 a.m.

The number 040 713 003 74 has been set up for people who need help with the evacuation.
Emergency accommodation is available in the respective sports halls in the Walter Ruckert sports hall in Oststeinbek and the sports hall of the Tannenweg elementary school in Glinde.
