Several people were injured in a major fire in an apartment building in Sweden.
According to media reports, at least one person was seriously injured in the fire that broke out that morning in Ånge municipality.
Several had suffered smoke inhalation.
A person allegedly jumped into the open from a great height.
The top floors of the house were completely destroyed by the flames.
Look to see if there are other people in the building, said Thomas Åslin from the responsible rescue service to the SVT radio station.
The situation was very serious, it said.
Recordings showed how the upper part of the house burned brightly in the morning.
Thick smoke rose from the building.
The police cordoned off the area.
Ånge is located around 400 kilometers north of Stockholm in the Västernorrland region.
