The Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety announced on Friday on the Internet portal www.lebensmittelwarnung.de that only the batches of type L0006749 of "dennree cloves whole 40g" with the best before dates 09.2023 and 02.2023 are affected.

"The use of the proven pesticide is not allowed in organic farming," said the manufacturer.

“Please bring the product back to the point of sale where you purchased it.

The purchase amount will be refunded to you on presentation of the product, even without a receipt. "

The goods were available at the Denns organic market and in selected specialist organic food stores.

If you are a customer of these markets and have purchased the cloves, you should bring them back and under no circumstances consume them.
