A 26-year-old driver from Munich is said to have been flashed 85 times since mid-October.
So it reported the »FAZ«, citing a press release from the Munich police.
Instead of the permitted age of 60, the driver was mostly traveling at more than 100 kilometers per hour.
Last Sunday, the driver is said to have got into a mobile speed control shortly after midnight and was stopped. On the basis of the clear evidence photos, the officers were finally able to assign the more than 80 previous violations to him. According to »FAZ«, the penalty is not just 100 points in the register of fitness to drive in Flensburg, there is also a fine of 14,000 euros. The driver must also hand in the driver's license. Further investigations by the Munich traffic police are supposed to continue.
Since November 10th, a new catalog of fines has been in effect, which specifies tougher penalties for violations of the rules in road traffic.
Anyone who drives 16 to 20 kilometers per hour too fast in urban areas and is flashed will pay 70 euros in future - instead of the previous 35 euros.
The aim of this measure is to increase traffic safety.
Cyclists and pedestrians should also be better protected.
Driving ban rules and the regulations on points in Flensburg remain unchanged.
