(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 28 - "I am convinced that Italy could be among the most optimistic countries with respect to the new variant for its high level of vaccination, over 80% of the population".

Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said this at the Festa del Foglio.

"There is still a great alert, we must use all the measures needed to avoid closing Italy, so closures abroad are welcome", underlined the minister.
