Big discounts and great offers: Black Friday lured with some good deals.
A man seems to have used this to give his mother a gift - but that was a lie.
South Africa - The crazy shopping week with the highlight "Black Friday" on Friday (November 26th) is behind us, at least for this year.
Companies attracted visitors with high discounts and many offers.
However, it is often not really worth waiting for the big day at the end of November.
Many products are only a few percent cheaper.
A Twitter user now pretended to have really struck on Black Friday and got hold of a couch for his mother.
But: The resourceful community exposed the Black Friday swindler.
Black Friday fraud: it pays to take a closer look at the receipt
The Twitter user with the name “@DlalaChampion” from South Africa posted a picture of a receipt and that of an anthracite-colored sofa last Friday.
He writes: “I have decided to surprise my mother with new sofas today because it is Black Friday.
I've never seen her so happy. ”All of this seems a little suspicious to his 58,000 followers.
The receipt shows the price of the couch - at 42,000 South African rand, or around 2,300 euros, not exactly a Black Friday bargain - but the date of purchase has been painted over.
A user posts the tweet with the photos again, this time the date is clearly visible: August 21, 2021. However, the authenticity of this post cannot be conclusively confirmed here.
Not from Black Friday, sorry.

Black Friday and social media: followers are outraged by "fake"
So DlalaChampion
does not necessarily
generate
enthusiasm
with his
campaign
.
Many of his followers are outraged that he is faking something.
One user writes: “The status will kill many people who lead a wrong life.
Just to impress or to belong.
Look reality in the eye and stop copying and pasting. ”Whether that impressed the Black Friday swindler is doubtful - he continues to post diligently on his channel.
By the way, if you missed Black Friday, you can now beat it again.
It's Cyber Monday.
