Covid-19 in France: 103 new deaths, nearly 1,050 hospital admissions in the past 24 hours

This Monday, 1,749 patients are hospitalized in critical care. They were 1406 last Monday.


At least eight possible cases of the new Omicron variant have been detected.

The Directorate General of Health promises confirmation "as soon as possible" with the results of the sequencing.

Public health France has recorded 103 deaths in the last 24 hours.

This figure is usually higher on Mondays.
