The national team coach, Roberto Mancini, visited the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai with his wife.
Accompanied by the general commissioner for Italy at Expo, Paolo Glisenti, the Azzurri coach was able to observe the various installations present.
During the visit, photographs and selfies with the volunteers of the pavilion could not be missed, visibly moved by the presence of the coach at Expo.
Someone even managed to snatch an autograph.
"Congratulations, it's a beautiful pavilion", Mancini told ANSA at the end of the visit.
"It represents Italy perfectly," he added.
No predictions, however, on the possibility of the Azzurri returning to the Gulf, specifically in Qatar, to compete in the 2022 World Cup. - in case of victory - with one between Portugal and Turkey
