According to the executive, the number of third-dose injections "explodes" currently, suggesting the 10 million people who have received their booster dose by the weekend.
Sunday, Olivier Véran, the Minister of Health, took stock of the vaccination reminders of the last two days, since it is mandatory for eligible adults.
According to him, there was a real "craze" of the French: "More than 700,000 French have received their recall over the last two days (...) including more than half from city doctors".
"We will exceed the 52 million French people who have received at least one injection", noting that 25 million doses were still available.
Goal: 10 million reminders by the end of the week
Olivier Véran also promised the establishment of 300 additional vaccination centers in the coming days.
Enough to achieve the objective set by the government of "10 million French people" having received the booster dose by the end of next week.
“I hope that we can arrive or get very close to the ten million French people who have received their booster dose by the end of the week (…) We set very high objectives in terms of the pace of this campaign.
