(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 30 - Plans for a harsh repression of Uyghurs in China would be linked to the highest levels of the leadership of the CCP.
This is what emerges - writes the Guardian - from a series of secret documents disseminated online.
The material, including 3 speeches by Xi Jinping from 2014, is leaked to the Uyghur Tribunal, an independent people's court based in the Kingdom, writes the website of the British newspaper.
In the documents, some of them classified as top secret, "the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party leadership demand demographic control, re-education and relocation of Uyghurs to correct a population imbalance in Xinjiang."
