Almost eight years after a murder in Mönchengladbach, the police arrested two alleged members of the rock band Hells Angels.
The two men are said to have been involved in removing the murder weapon and the body of Kai M., who was murdered in early 2014.
This was announced by the murder commission in Duisburg.
Arrest warrants have been requested for avoidance of punishment in relation to a joint murder.
The suspected murderer is said to have fled abroad
An arrest warrant had been opened for the same allegations in the Willich correctional facility for a third man who was already in prison.
According to the investigations, the body of Kai M. is said to have been brought in a car trailer from Mönchengladbach to Duisburg and then on to the Ruhr area in January 2014 after his murder.
Parts of the dismembered body were later found in Duisburg on the banks of the Rhine, in the Rheinpreußenhafen and in the Rhine-Herne Canal.
According to the police, Ramin Y. is the suspect for the murder, but he has fled abroad.
An international arrest warrant is being used to search for him.
A fifth suspect, who is said to have been involved in the dismemberment of the murdered man, was arrested on September 2 in the course of a major raid.
