Red lights at the change of shift: The staff at the Rosenheim Clinic is fighting the corona crisis

The staff of the Rosenheim Clinic in Bavaria sent a call for help in red: The nurses from two intensive care units at the clinic switched the LED lamps to red light in the evening.
The LEDs have been set to red for days when the shift changes in the early evening.
Actually, the light strips, which can be set in different colors, are intended to support therapy and interior design, the message said.
Due to the precarious and tense situation in the clinics, the intensive care team wanted to set an example and therefore set the lights in all rooms to the alarm color in the evening.
The Rosenheim district is particularly badly affected by the corona situation, with a seven-day incidence of 1356.

“This is an outward cry for help.
The clinics are at their absolute limit and there is an urgent need for nurses and intensive care physicians to support us, ”said the commercial director of the clinic, Max von Holleben.
