Wherever Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Madonna have been, Adele can of course also go: the singer has announced a permanent show in Las Vegas on Twitter.
Accordingly, Adele will play two shows on twelve weekends between January and April 2022.
The concerts in the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas will be called "Weekends with Adele".
According to the US magazine "Variety", the hall is approved for 4,100 people.
For Adele, this should be a compromise, despite the ongoing pandemic, to be able to play her recently released album »30« live without the risk of having to cancel a lavishly planned tour due to corona restrictions or illness.
Adele made a brilliant comeback on November 19th with her fourth studio album.
On "30" she celebrates a difficult time in her life, a personal crisis that led to her divorce from her husband.
It became one of the best-selling albums of the year in just three days.
Las Vegas residences of major pop stars are often extended beyond their initial term.
For example, Celine Dion has played more than a thousand shows in Las Vegas, selling tickets for a total of 681.3 million US dollars, reports "Variety".
