The analysis of the 'Imprese Vincenti 2021' digital tour, the Intesa Sanpaolo program for the enhancement of Italian small and medium-sized enterprises, reaches this conclusion.


During the closing event, organized in collaboration with The European House-Ambrosetti, and in front of the one hundred and twelve 'Winning Enterprises 2021', an assessment of the edition was drawn up with a dialogue that focuses on companies and the tools they provide. disposition to seize the opportunities offered by the ecological and digital transition. Imprese Vincenti aims to enhance, make known, support and strengthen SMEs, thanks also to the collaboration of project partners Bain & Company, Elite, Gambero Rosso, Cerved, Microsoft Italia, Nativa, Circularity and Coldiretti, as well as Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione and Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center.


"This edition of Imprese Vincenti is very timely because it has made the role of SMEs as the engine of the economy tangible", says Stefano Barrese, head of the Banca dei Territori Division of Intesa Sanpaolo. With Imprese Vincenti "we managed to intercept ten thousand companies in three years, a number that gives a sense of the success of this initiative", says Anna Roscio, business manager of Banca dei Territori.


During the digital tour, most of the 2021 Winning Companies highlighted the ability to continue investing despite the pandemic emergency, with a reorientation towards digitization and sustainability.


"Small and medium-sized enterprises play a fundamental role because 50 percent of national exports come from them", underlines Gregorio De Felice, chief economist of Intesa Sanpaolo.
