A week ago US singer Aaron Carter ("I Want Candy") announced the birth of his child.
Now he has separated from his fiancée Melanie Martin.
For personal reasons, they go their separate ways, wrote the 33-year-old on Twitter.
"Mel and I appreciate the support and concern we have received," writes Carter.
Both parents would continue to put the well-being of their child first, even "in this difficult time".
In the end, he referred to the hashtag #HeartBroken.
His son is all he has, "I'm now a single father," it said in a tweet.
In other messages, the younger brother of "Backstreet Boys" singer Nick Carter, 41, complained about alleged lies and interference on the part of his family.
Carter wrote that he was betrayed and betrayed by his relatives.
Attempts have been made to place him under guardianship.
The quarrel between the siblings has often made headlines.
Brother Nick and twin sister Angel applied for a ban on contact in 2019 after Aaron allegedly made threats.
