Cyber Monday disappoints expectations.
For the first time since Adobe's data collection began in 2012, daytime online sales of big web discounts dropped 1.4% to $ 10.7 billion.
Cyber Monday was however confirmed as the day of the year with the highest number of online sales.
"With the first deals in October, consumers weren't waiting for discounts on big shopping days like Cyber ;; Monday and Black Friday," said Taylor Schreiner, director of Adobe Digital Insights.
